Analisys

Corporations and governments are the key sources on unfair wealth distribution. I think if more people could get a larger share in the overall wealth distribution it would provide a more stable base to grow our economy.
But if there's more money available to us through the free market, and we don't go after it; what does that say about us? I for one, think the money spent on obvious boondongles within Tourism, should be spent on helping everyone on the island.
At one point I analysed the USVI budget, and they spend around 3-4 million a year on tourism, which includes sanitation and security. I recently heard that our Tourism budget seven-times that, at $28 million, and I heard a rumor that that was going to be doubling during 2012. "¡Mira como llueve antes de los elecciones!" Fifty Six million, and we might make it into third! Wow!
I wonder what the per capita rate is?

We're doing our part to promote the island over at PuertoRicoDayTrips, without any money/help from PRTC or PRTHA.

Thanks for your leadership Ray! That's one of the things I'm hoping to convince people, we can not wait for the system to change. We have to do things ourself: security, tourism, education, etc
Thanks for the comment...

Totally agree with this report and the words on it. I believe Puerto Rico is the Best place to visit in the Caribbean, even we aren't the cheapest. But we still have the best variety of activities and the best facilities.
I also agree that, if Puerto Rico can move to the #1 spot in the Caribbean, we are the only ones capable to do it, not the government system or the PRTC. But with the limitation of money resources in the beginning, we have to be united.

Totally agree with the information and the comments. If Puerto Rico move to the #1 spot in the Caribbean, is because the union of people like us.
In the beginning we wouldn't have the millions, but the interest and passion will replace that, something that the system and the PRTC didn't show at 100%
