Puerto Rico Home Show 2007

For many people everywhere, your home is your castle. Outside of work, which is where we spend most of our time, we spend the rest of our time at home. In casa Don Dees, we probably spend more time at home than most. It gets complicated with three kids to decide where to go, and if you factor in the extended family, well then it gets really complicated Puerto Rican style. In addition, when you factor in the cost of a family of five to attend most events today, plus the traffic, crime, and parking, well let's just say that we are one of the VIP customers for the local Cinema Video. We boycott Blockbuster, but I'll leave that rant for another day.

Well since we are the kings and queens of our castles, then it's only natural to want those castles to be as comfortable and accommodating as possible. So if your looking to make some improvements in your castle, then this weekend's Puerto Rico Home Show might be in order. The show will be held in the Puerto Rico Convention Center on February 23rd through the 25th. and will be open daily from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tickets are available in Ticket Center and will also be available at the Convention Center. Adult tickets are $6 and children between 2 and 12 years old are $2. If bought through Ticket Center, there is a $2.50 service and Internet charge.

The Puerto Rico Home show will feature over 300 exhibitors from the most prestigious companies in the home industry. In addition there will be music, workshops, raffles, seminars and all types of orientation about:

• Decoration
• Architects
• Furniture
• Kitchens
• Tiles
• Doors and windows
• Bathrooms
  
• Illumination
• and more

As the freak attraction for the event the show will feature "The house without walls" OVER WATER! Hmm, a house without walls just WTF could that be? But, wait, there's more, it's over water. My curiosity is so peaked I might just pay $6.00 plus the 2.50 service and Internet charge to see what that's all about. And speaking about freak shows. Man what is up with the Puerto Rico Home Show web site? I really like the architectural model of the PRCC. Yep, they have to use the architects conception because there are no photographs available. WARNING: Do not try to check the calendar it is so full of dates, you might get lost. I'm not sure which is more pathetic, the empty calendar, the incorrect URLs for the sponsors, or the totally useless floor plan. Everyone associated with this website should be fired and forced to watch YouTube remixes until their ears bleed and their eyes burst.
