Street Slam

Today on the multiple floor parking garage of Plaza del Sol in Bayamón, the Street Slam 2 on 2 Hoop Challenge gets under way. There are categories for all ages, so there should be plenty of action. The different categories included are:

• 9 to 10 years old
• 11 to 12 years old
• 13 to 16 years old
• 17 to 18 years old
• 19 to 25 years old
• 26 to 40 years old
• and 41 years old and over (yeah like over the hill)

The tournament will be a double elimination (each team has to lose twice in order to be eliminated) and will run from today through Sunday. The championship games for each category will be Sunday afternoon. For more information call (787) 641-3999. Oh, if you're thinking about signing up to play, sorry. The deadline to sign-up your team was the 25th of May.
