Puerto Rico State Band Auditions

The Institute of Puerto Rican Culture will conduct auditions for the State Band of Puerto Rico this Thursday, August 16th in Old San Juan. The auditions will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Museo de Casablanca on Calle San Sebastian.

The auditions will be for musicians skilled in the following instruments:

• Flute and Piccolo
• Clarinet
• Oboe
• French Horn
• Saxophone
• Trumpet
• Trombone
• Tuba
• Piano
• Bass
• Percussion

Interested musicians should be available for practices Mondays from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. In addition they should also be available for performances Monday through Thursday starting at 6:00 p.m. and all day Sunday.
